Data Privacy Notice

Pursuant to Article 13 (1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR), please be informed that:

The controller of your personal data is Agnieszka Maniakowska Tłumacz Przysięgły Języka Angielskiego, with registered office in Legionowo, postal code 05-120, at 60B Warszawska street.

It is compulsory to provide your name. These data will be entered into the so-called roll of deeds, i.e. the list of activities performed by the sworn translator. The provision of thee data is mandatory and results from the requirement to designate the principal or the ordering party set out in Article 17(2) of the Act on the Profession of Sworn Translators (of 25/10/2014 as amended). This information will be kept for 4 years.

Providing your ID card number or e-mail address is voluntary, but necessary for your identification when collecting the translation, in order to prevent the documents from being passed on to an unauthorised person. This information will be deleted upon collection of the order.

The processing of your personal data, as well as those of third parties included in the documents to be translated, is necessary for the performance of the contract, although the provision of such data is voluntary. Such information will be kept (in the form of documents and translations thereof) for 4 years from the date of collection of the translation.

If you wish to receive an invoice, you will be required to provide additional information necessary for the invoice to be issued, and resulting from tax regulations imposing such an obligation on you. This information will be kept for the period resulting from the aforementioned legislation.

You have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data,
  • request that the controller provide you with a copy of the data processed,
  • request rectification of that data,
  • request erasure of the data or restriction of their processing to storage, which the controller is obliged to do only in certain circumstances, described in the data protection legislation.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your data, the provision of which was voluntary, however, taking this objection into account may result in preventing the execution of the contract.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
